Within is informed by the photographs of Francesca Woodman and is part of an extensive exploration of the relationship between body and place. These images consider questions of self-portraiture as well as representations of women more generally. Tensions between public and private are underlined and as the boundaries of subject and object become blurred, I ponder: who or what is the subject, who/what is the object?
